Sport & Performance Dietitan
Lauren Planas MS, RD, CSSD, LDN
As a lifelong athlete, Lauren developed an early appreciation for how nutrition supports both performance and overall well-being. That passion, combined with a genuine love of food, led her to earn a B.S. in Dietetics from the University of Connecticut, a M.S. in Nutrition from Boston University, and the Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD) credential in 2025.

Lauren is a Registered Dietitian specializing in performance nutrition, supporting athletes and high performers at every level—from high school and Division I collegiate programs to tactical populations and endurance athletes. Her experience includes serving as the Performance RD for the Massachusetts National Guard, working with collegiate athletes at UConn, Boston University, and Boston College, and providing care in partial hospitalization and outpatient settings for individuals and their families recovering from disordered eating.

Her approach is holistic and rooted in an anti-diet philosophy. She combines evidence-based strategies with practical application to help clients understand how nutrition supports their health, training, and performance. Known for her curious, compassionate, and direct coaching style, Lauren balances accountability with encouragement to help clients build sustainable habits and a positive relationship with food.
